Port Douglas Adventure Tours & Bookings Terms and Conditions 2019-2020


Bookings may be made via telephone 0420 101 757 or email portdouglasadventures@gmail.com. No deposit is required to secure and confirm a booking, however a credit card number will be required to hold seats on the tour. The balance of payment is due on the day of the tour, usually on completion of the program. For agents final payment is required when invoice is received.

Cancellation Policy:

For cancellations made through booking agents, greater than 2 days prior to the tour running, a full refund will be offered less an administration fee. This refund will be held by PDAT Sea Kayak Tours for use as a future booking deposit and is valid for one year from the original cancellation date.

For cancellations, 1- 2 days prior, a 50 % (of total tour cost) cancellation fee applies.

For cancellations, less than 24 hours, the full tour fee will be charged to the client.

To be entitled to a refund, cancellations must be made in writing.

Wet Weather Policy:

Due to unforeseen weather conditions, PDAT Sea Kayak Tours may need to amend or cancel a tour for general enjoyment and safety of the clients. Should this unlikely event occur, an alternate date will be offered, if the proposed tour program is unable to run. If another date is not available an alternative option will be proposed.

Minimum Age & Child rates/ Transfers:

Children are welcome from the ages of 8 years. For ages younger than this, please contact us for advice.

Transfers can be arranged from Port Douglas for $60 return, up to 3 guests or guests can self-drive to Thala and meet us at reception at 7 or 7.30 am. For more than 3 guests please contact us for a quote.
